  5. The file bdg_TDNN.net describes the time delay network discussed in 
  6.  
  7.     Connectionist Glue: Modular Design of Neural Speech Systems,
  8.     Alex Waibel, CMU, in Proceedings of the 1988 Connectionist 
  9.     Models Summer School, 1988
  10.  
  11. The net classifies the letters B, D, and G from 16 melscale spectral 
  12. coeficients. The input therefore does not resemble the figures B, D, or G,
  13. but their phonemic representations.
